At Lotus, we know that a woman is powerful, but a group of women is unstoppable. We offer opportunities through our social spaces, retreats, and other events for Midwestern women at all levels of their careers to connect and build community with their peers. We create ways for women to find and form community with each other.
We want women at every level and every table, but especially at the top. We meet women where they are and offer the tools and resources to help them feel more confident and to advance within their careers. Our channels are judgment-free, so women can ask questions, get answers, and climb the ladder toward the glass ceiling.
A more equitable world looks like more women in leadership. We offer support for those already there, and opportunities for those looking to get there. On top of fostering community, Lotus will conduct yearly research to gain a better understanding of the challenges working women face, and the solutions they need to overcome those challenges. This kind of research is lacking, especially in the Midwest, and will be imperative to all of our advancement.
The other day, as I was watching women’s college basketball, a guy made the comment to me that he “Can’t wait until this is all over so we can go back to normal.” He was referencing the attention the media is putting on women’s basketball. I can’t get that comment out of my head. Not
